TYK FACE ME Micro-Abrasion Crystal Vitamin LiftMicro-Abrasion Crystal Vitamin Lift This is the first step of the two part FACE ME System for microdermabrasion at home. Using Vitamin Crystals and an AHA Activator, this Resurfacing System delivers results far beyond every day peels and exfoliants. Baby smooth skin! MSRP: $54.00
FACE me stimulates regeneration on a cellular level, resurfacing the skin using Micro-Abrasion Vitamin Crystals locked with Vitamins A, C & E. When activated, the anti-oxidizing affects dissolve away aged skin and stimulate new growth from the deeper layers below. FACE me re-energizes your skin in 3 distinct ways:
Direction: To resurface skin, massage Micro-Abrasion Crystals into skin for 2-3 minutes. Then apply the Lift Activator, continuing to massage, to release the vitamin infusion. The Lift Activator transforms the crystal vitamins into a warm foaming bath of rejuvenation. Wait 5 minutes and rinse with a warm washcloth. Ingredients: PEG-6, Sodium Bicarbonate, Oleth-20, Glyceryl Stearate SE, Silica, Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Ascorbic Acid, Beta Carotene, Orange (Citrus Aurantium Dulcis) Essence Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate, Lactic Acid, Isopropylparaben, Isobutylparaben, Butylparaben Here are some features of microdermabrasion machines should be considered when selecting a Microdermabrasion system. Crystal quality. Several substances are being used in microdermabrasion machines, including aluminum oxide, commonly referred to as corundum; magnesium oxide; sodium chloride; and sodium bicarbonate. The overwhelming substance used is aluminum oxide crystal. Aluminum oxide is a harder substance than many alternatives. In fact it is the next hardest mineral to diamonds. Its hardness is attributed partially to the strong and short oxygen-aluminum bonds that pull the oxygen and aluminum atoms close together, making it hard and dense. The crystal's hardness contributes to abrading effectiveness. Because it is more inert, it also is typically less reactive when used on the skin. Size and uniformity. Every machine has its own construction of crystal inlet, airflow-system and nozzle size. Most machines are manufactured to work with 90-120 micron crystals. However, it is impossible to manufacture only one grid size of crystals. Thus, the stated size al-ways is an average. For example, if the manufacturer states that the crystal size is 100 microns, some percentage of the crystals will be smaller than 100, and some that will be larger. What is more important that the average size of the crystals is the distribution of different sizes. Figure 1 shows two different kinds of crystals with an average size of 100 microns each. Crystal set A is a rather poor quality with many crystals smaller than 80 microns and many larger than 120 microns. Unfortunately, the small particles quickly cause a blocking of the filter system, while the bigger particles lead to clogging problems. Crystal set B is of a higher quality as most crystals are in a very narrow range of size. Shape. The shape of each single crystal also is important. Aluminum oxide crystals come in two basic shapes: the hexagonal shape with sharp edges offers advantages in crystal flow as well as being more abrasive; a rice corn shape, with a smoother surface, is less abrasive. Its elongated shape also lends to a greater chance of clogging. More Choices
